Configuring and instrument is done in three easy steps. On large instruments left click on the config button on the all other instruments double left click on the instrument.
Step 1. Select config.

Step 2. Select the new instrument to display.

Step 3. Select the green √ button and the drop down will close and the new instrument
will be displayed.

Screens colors can be tailored to your liking. Select the paint palette icon, and select the attribute you would like to change and then select the color. Your new selections will appear on all screens.

Alarm limits and settings can be set to your specifications. Once alarm limits are set the instrument will now reflect the limits you entered by yellow or blue lines on the instrument face.

FT NavVision's comprehensive logging capabilities will log any instrument or digital inputs you have configured and write the data to a spread sheet file that can be easily read with Microsoft Excel.

The alarm logging capabilities allows you to look at all alarm occurrences. Each entry is date and time stamped as they occur and written to the alarm log file. All alarm prompts will show up in the top right task bar in addition any active instrument will turn red when an alarm is active.

Another capability of alarm reporting is the remote notification which allows users to have any alarm to send a text message to your cell phone.

In some cases remote monitoring is
necessary, RAS give users the ability to monitor their vessel or fleet
in real time RAS also gives users remote control
capabilities. Ex: to restore shore contactors if power went off line or to remotely view ships surveillance
camera's.
